OBJECTIVE:
i. To let all student adding the subject code in UniKL BMI ecities system so
that there will be no error or mistake with the subject code that different
between SLT and NON-SLT student.
ii. To search for the students supervisor. They have to came with the title or
the supervisor will proposed a title for the students.
iii. To understand and clearly know what will be done to complete the task
given. The first final year project (FYP) briefing will be held to guide the
students and remind everything that they have to do.

The title project was not provided and I have to search for the title project what I'm going to do. The idea came when I was disclosed to the danger
and accident that happened in the work place. One type of the danger causes is
when the overheating that occurs due to non-stop machinery used in the large
industries especially in the automation system industries. Temperature sensing PID
controller is the title that I have choose and proposed to my supervisor
and she allow me to proceed with this project.
TEMPERATURE SENSING PID CONTROLLER
The demand of controlling an accurate temperature control in the process control in most of heavy industries is very important to achieve their own target in manufacturing field. It is because when an overheating temperature is occur it will cause the damage of the equipment and it also will affect the operating budget for the expensive cost corrective maintenance or to replace the damage. Sometimes the temperature control is provided and cannot accommodate with the extreme temperature produced by the equipment. The aim of my project is also should be produce a low cost of the prototype. It is because I’m thinking of applying it to the purpose of education. The low cost of the project can be easily built or buy for all the laboratory in schools or any higher institution to introduce students of engineering field about the concepts of sensors, how to connect the input sensors to the microcontroller, how was the functions of the PID controller and also the prototype also can make them familiar with the components and product as well. This can make the way to understand the engineering subject more easily and entertaining.
OBJECTIVES PROJECT
- To produce a product that can be implementing in the industries to manage the failure of controlling the temperature.
- To produce a product that can be useful for others that in the same field.
BLOCK DIAGRAM
The block diagram above describes
the input and output measured that involved in the process system. This project will show the control of constant temperature
according to the desired value (set point) in a closed loop using PID controller
system. For this, microcontroller will be used, a temperature sensor LM35 for
sensing the temperature of the closed loops. By using the microcontroller it will
compare the desired value with current value and it is displayed in the LCD.
Also to provide the constant temperature, Fan or Heater is turned On or Off
according with the variations of current temperature in degree Celsius from desired setpoint and a buzzer will
operated if the current value is over the over heat value.
